Lesley and Peter contacted Urban Spaces earlier this year. They wanted us to created a garden room in Chorley that would provide them with the extra space they needed.
What type of garden room did the client require?
The client required a stylish and cosy garden room. The intended purpose of the garden room was to function as an area to pursue their leisure interests, and to entertain family and friends.
They wanted the garden entertainment room to open up into their outdoor space when the weather permitted.
A gate to restrict access from the side entry between the wall of their house and the new garden room was also needed.
What was our garden entertainment room solution?
Urban Spaces constructed a square garden room on a concrete base for Lesley and Peter, measuring 3.6m2.
We created an open feel between the garden entertainment area and the garden itself using 3m bi-folding doors in anthracite.
Two anthracite floor-to-ceiling top opening windows and matching fascias completed this elegant look.
We added Siberian larch cladding to the outer walls. We used Siberian larch cladding as this is an attractive, durable, and cost effective timber – ideal for garden room exteriors.
Urban Spaces installed a Firestone rubber roof and vapour barrier to keep out the elements. This ensured that Lesley and Peter could use their new garden room all year round.
We fully plastered the garden room and provided a full electrical package as part of the service.
Finally, we installed a stunning Siberian larch gate between the house and garden room. This perfectly matched the exterior of the new building.
