An attractive multipurpose garden office | Mr Hudson

Mr Hudson contacted Urban Spaces at the beginning of 2021. He was interested in relocating his hectic workspace to a garden office.

After a few visits throughout the year, the client was satisfied with our attention to detail and outstanding customer service. He therefore decided to go ahead with the construction of his new garden room.

What type of garden room was required?

Mr Hudson, like many of our clients, began to work from home more frequently during the pandemic. Subsequently, the benefits of flexible working led to this becoming a long term agreement with his employer.

He not only needed to use his new room as a garden office, but wanted a welcoming space to use as a family room in the warmer months.

What was our garden office solution?

We created a bespoke garden office for this client, measuring 4.8m x 3.5m.

This attractive garden room was wrapped in Siberian larch to two elevations. We also covered the additional two elevations with anthracite box profile roof sheeting.  This created an attractive and robust finish with minimal maintenance required.

As Mr Hudson wanted to open up the room into his garden when the weather permitted, we opted for a 3m set of aluminium bi-folding doors.

Internally, the garden room benefited from 100mm Kingspan insulation. This ensured that the client would stay warm whilst working throughout the winter.

A Firestone rubber roof system with anthracite PVC fascias completed this garden office. This type of roofing system offers unparalleled resistance to the elements, and has a life expectancy of over 50 years. This gave Mr Hudson the peace of mind that his new garden office roof would stand the test of time.

Of course, we took care of all the plastering, vinyl click flooring and electrics. This enabled the client to begin using his new garden office right away.
